I apologise for the long delay on completing this painting, but you must understand that each painting has hidden challenges – this one, for sure, has been the hardest I’ve taken by a long shot. During these last three weeks I’ve often thought about the weight of the amount of time this single painting has taken me to complete, as opposed to having finish a potential three others instead… well, sometimes that’s just the way it is. I do believe this was an important goalie mask to complete, and especially being a Montreal one I felt that I had to do it ‘right’ instead of giving up or giving in when it became challenging. I don’t like to lose quality just because of frustration, so I stuck to it and this is what came of it. Thank you for the patience.
