What I’ve Been Working On

I’ve been quiet for the last little while. I’ve been experimenting and pushing different ideas as far as my charcoal drawings go. I haven’t posted them because I haven’t been sure whether or not I’m satisfied with them or if the drawings are finished yet. But, I don’t think it’s good to have an absense, so here they are anyways. If I change them, I’ll just update my site later. Remember, these are quick photographs I’ve taken and photoshopped to make them look as much as I could to how they actually look in person. Eventually I’ll have them all scanned so that they are of better quality – which will happen soon… because I’ve entered myself into an art show (Sarnia Art Walk) at the beginning of next month. So I’ll have to get them scanned and printed. I’ll give you more information on that later though. Too soon for now and I’m still organizing it.

Anyways, keep in mind that I’m still not used to drawing with charcoal. I prefer pencil. Bic pencils. But, this is more pleasing to the eye, so I figured I’d get used to it. Some are successes, some aren’t so much.

PS, right now I’m working on a one line drawing. It’s definately a bold experiment.

Charcoal and Watercolour. This will look a whole lot better once I have an official scan. This is the closest I could make it look to the original drawing
